Since our incorporation in 2003, HPBC has benefited greatly from the generosity of countless volunteers, corporate donors, expertise from businesses and individuals, academic institutions and organisations.
Belmont Community Housing
Through their ‘Giving While Living’ initiative has donated hundreds of thousands of pounds enabling the charity to move forward with planning applications for future projects.
This fund will be recycled by the charity to cover the costs of surveys etc. needed to go through the planning process for additional future developments. This innovative approach to giving has helped the charity to be financially sustainable into the future.
Wienerberger
The multi national company, Wienerberger, has been a long time friend to HPBC and has donated many thousands of pounds to the charity, including bricks, flagging and roof tiles. The donation of materials helps to make the projects viable.
Dickies workwear
Dickies workwear has helped our volunteers to be appropriately dressed by donating workwear, thereby helping our home partners and volunteers to be prepared for the building site.
Armed Forces
HPBC has proudly signed the Armed Forces Covenant and worked with the Armed Forces Breakfast Clubs. We are keen to expand our support of veterans.
We have been delighted to welcome students and trainees from many colleges and universities to help them learn skills on a real site benefitting real people. We have also welcomed students from France on placements, America and Switzerland.
